"Sure," Beth answers, smiling. "I know how hard it is, gettin' started, tryin' to figure out where to go and who to talk to. Not that I know everyone, but I've been here for a pretty long time, so I know my way around a lot of it."

Whether or not she'll be good on her own isn't the sort of thing Beth can decide, but she knows other musicians, too. People who want to play, people who are looking for any opportunity.
